Guest Services Supervisor
Full Time – Live In Position| at Blue Horizon Resort

We are currently seeking a full time Guest Services Supervisor to live onsite at Blue Horizon Resort. The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible to ensure the continuing success of Blue Horizon Resort by focusing on achieving team results and provide a high level of customer service. Leading the team with a hands on approach is essential as this role is responsible for the operation of the hotel including but not limited to front desk, reservations, maintenance and housekeeping. The ability to work on weekends is a must, local resident highly regarded.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Hold a current RLA licence areas or be willing to obtain one
  • Live onsite and respond to afterhours and emergency calls
  • Manage, record and resolve promptly Guest or customer complaints
  • Ensure a very high level of customer service is constantly maintained
  • Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with all properties
  • Maintain staffing levels to meet business demands
  • Comply with fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous managerial experience in a customer service function
  • An ability to listen and respond to demanding Guest needs

Guest Services Night Supervisor
Full Time | Heart Hotel & Gallery Whitsundays

Heart Hotel & Gallery Whitsundays is currently seeking highly motivated, well-presented, energetic person who enjoys providing great service with a smile, to join our team as a Full Time Guest Services Night Supervisor. You will be a night owl enjoying the night shift between 11pm and 7am. You will be able to work a flexible roster as weekends are a must. Duties and responsibilities:

  • General front office duties – checking guests in & out

  • Complete the daily banking ensuring transactions are correct.

You will be able to work a flexible roster, which includes morning, afternoon and nights shifts including weekends. Duties and responsibilities:

  • Housekeeping duties (room and public areas)
  • Monitoring room cleanliness
  • On-going training of the housekeeping team
  • Ensuring our high quality standards are maintained
  • Stock control and ordering supplies
  • Guest liaison as required
  • Logging maintenance (room and property)
  • Lost property control
