Guest Services Supervisor
Full Time – Live In Position | at Blue Horizon Resort

We are currently seeking a full time Guest Services Supervisor to live onsite at Blue Horizon Resort. The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible to ensure the continuing success of Blue Horizon Resort by focusing on achieving team results and provide a high level of customer service. Leading the team with a hands on approach is essential as this role is responsible for the operation of the hotel including but not limited to front desk, reservations, maintenance and housekeeping. After hours assistance and the ability to work on weekends is a must, local resident highly regarded.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Hold a current RLA licence areas or be willing to obtain one
  • Live onsite and respond to afterhours and emergency calls
  • Manage, record and resolve promptly guest or customer complaints
  • Ensure a very high level of customer service is constantly maintained
  • Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with all properties
  • Maintain staffing levels to meet business demands
  • Comply with fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous managerial experience in a customer service function
  • An ability to listen and respond to demanding Guest needs
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

Part Time - Weekends | at Waterfront Whitsunday Retreat

Working closely with the Guest Services Managers you will be responsible to ensure well maintained rooms and public areas. The ability to work on weekends is a must, local resident highly regarded.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day general maintenance duties within the hotel rooms and public areas
  • Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency calls
  • Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in proper condition
