Maintenance Handyperson
Full Time

We are currently seeking an energetic, customer focused and experienced Maintenance Handyperson. Working closely with the Guest Services Managers, housekeeping and reception teams you will be responsible to ensure well maintained rooms and public areas. The ability to work on weekends is a must, local resident highly regarded.

This position requires a minimum 12 month contract – if you are unable to commit for a minimum of 12 months please do not apply.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day general maintenance duties within the hotel rooms and public areas
  • Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency calls
  • Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in proper condition
  • Ensuring our high quality standards are maintained
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service when engaging with Guests
  • Basic gardening duties

The successful candidate will have:

  • An eye for detail
  • Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes
  • Strong work ethic

Guest Services Agent
Full Time | The Sebel Whitsundays

at Hotel Group is currently seeking highly motivated, well-presented, energetic person who enjoys providing great service with a smile, to join our team as a Full Time Guest Service Agent. You will be able to work a flexible roster, which includes regular weekends. Only short listed candidates will be contacted, local resident highly regarded.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • General front office duties – checking guests in & out
  • Maintaining guest's accounts with accuracy
  • Ensure a very high level of customer service is constantly maintained
  • Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with all properties
  • Processing large volumes of reservations in a timely and professional manner
  • Timely email management

The successful candidate will have:

Housekeeping Extraordinaire
Casual | Multiple Properties

This role requires a minimum 3 month contract.

We are on the lookout for Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our housekeeping team to work at multiple properties across the group. Previous experience preferred however a positive attitude and superior, friendly customer service ethic essential. Casual roles available, ability to work on weekends is a must, local resident highly regarded.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Servicing/Cleaning the Apartments/Public Areas
  • Maintaining linen and stock requirements
  • Undertake special cleaning projects
  • Follow the procedures for all lost property items
  • Communicate maintenance issues

The successful candidate will have:

  • Extremely high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Positive attitude & team player
  • Excellent communication & time management skills
  • Excellent grooming and presentation skills
