Hotel : at Blue Horizon Resort - July 2016

Went to Blue Horizon Resort to spoil myself for my 60 birthday. I had an apartment with spa bath. Wow it was great. Even in the spa pool was great meeting a couple of family's. Felt safe and the staff were so helpful and all instructions for late check in were easy to understand. I will be back. Thanks for a great memorable birthday.

Hotel : at Marina Shores Apartments - July 2016

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with a 10 night stay at the apartments. The room was great - clean, neat, and met our purposes perfectly. The grounds are very well maintained by Trevor. [For the Park View below - read Garden View / for Lagoon View read Fantastic Water View]. The apartments themselves and the other buildings and areas are constantly being revitalised though from our experience - it wasn't necessary. Rowena's welcome at check-in was warm and friendly. The advice and information we asked for and received from her for trips, tours, places to see, shopping, restaurants, supermarkets and transport was genuine and just what we needed without anything being forced upon us. Best reception in any place we have every stayed - here in Australia or overseas. Even the cleaning staff were friendly, chatty without being intrusive and happy. Check-out on our last day was super quick and easy. We were very sad that we had to leave. We had been made to feel very much welcomed, appreciated and 'at home'.

Hotel : at Water's Edge Resort - June 2016

Love the rooms with the jacuzzis on the balcony, the rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. We stayed with friends in 2014 at the hotel. Loved the pool and the bar area. Quite and relaxed. Very close to the centre, so you can leave the car and just have a small walk

Hotel : at Blue Horizon Resort  - June 2016

We stayed at Blue Horizon in one of the penthouse suites and it was amazing! The room was fantastic, clean, comfortable and exceeded our expectations. The service from the office girls was amazing and the manager Carla went out of her way to ensure all our needs were met! The price was great, the view amazing and the room suburb! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Hotel : at Water's Edge Resort - June 2016

We stay at this apartment last month. Amazing views from the balcony and in walking distance to all you want at Airlee Beach. Complimentary continental breakfast was a bonus (although many other reviews were critical of the breakfast) Choice of swimming pools plus lounging chairs plus shade cover poolside.

Hotel : at Beach Court Holiday Villas - June 2016

Everywhere else seems like a shoebox in comparison to Beach Court Villas. Nice place to stay if you prefer a little more room to relax in. Free WiFi is limited, but then so is everywhere else in Airlie and you don't really need it anyway. Right near a beautiful beach, a very short walk away from the shops and a short and scenic taxi ride to the Central strip of Airlie (around $15). Absolutely loved it there, would definitely stay at Beach Court Holiday Villas again.

Hotel : at Water's Edge Resort - June 2016

We stayed in a room on top floor ( #49) it was a two bedded unit, good size with well fitted out kitchen area and laundry facilities, there is a spacious balcony that we used each night to have a drink and watch the beautiful sunset over the water with the dozens of moored sailing vessels. Stars were spectacular also.
Staff were very friendly and always willing to assist. Nice continental breakfast that suited us as small eaters, however if you have a large appetite you could either make something or dine out. There is a Woolworths supermarket and liquor shop across the road. There is a steepish drive but it's ok if you take it easy. Airlie Beach has lots of backpackers and is a bit of a party town, it can be noisy until late at night/ early morning It is also very close to main shopping/ earing area.

Hotel : at Water's Edge Resort - June 2016

Great establishment, friendly staff on arrival, no waiting for check in, room was clean well serviced modern and views were excellent. We had fantastic dining experience in our stay at airlie and the front desk staff were only to happy to make the required reservation for us at our desired dining establishments. All in all a great place to stay for a couple of nights or longer. Everything in Airlie beach is just a short stroll from the resort meaning not having to get in the car when you are staying here so a few drinks with your meal can be enjoyed without the concern of upsetting the local constabulary on your way back to the resort. we will definitely be back and can recommend a stay here will be worth your while and money.

Hotel : at Waterfront Whitsunday Retreat - June 2016

I stayed 4 nights here & it was fantastic.
Easy walk into town & directly in front of port Airlie marina where daily ferries depart to the islands.
The girl on reception was so helpful & inviting. She gave us some really handy & useful information about which tours were best value for money & I was never disappointed by her options.
The room has everything you could need including a private outdoor spa on the room balcony which is perfect after a day of action in & on the water.
Will not hesitate to book here again in the future.

Hotel : at Water's Edge Resort - June 2016

I took my partner here for a romantic weekend away and we were not disappointed in the room at all from the stunning views to the comfy bed and a large spa to enjoy or nights in. I would recommend if possible to book a spa room to do so, the rooms are large well furnished and the hotel is well within walking distant to everything you need.
Highly recommend this to anyone from a couple to a group looking to go out for the night.

Hotel : at Blue Horizon Resort - June 2016

We stayed for 7 nights using a Groupon voucher. It was a perfect location. It didn't take too long to walk into town and we had a car if needed too. A few minutes walk to the marina for our cruise to Whitehaven/Daydream. The kids loved the pool/spa and the kids room downstairs was an extra bonus. The reception staff were lovely.

Hotel : at Marina Shores Apartments - June 2016

We stayed here for three nights prior to travelling to the islands. The apartment was well equipped with all modern equipment, dishwasher, washing machine, BBQ etc. Very clean apartment. The apartment are very close to the Marina where you can go for a lovely walk to the restaurants. Also a lovely board walk to Airlie Beach 20 mins.

Hotel : at Water's Edge Resort - June 2016

We return here from our great visit last year and it was even better!!
They have now introduced a complimentary light breakfast of cereal, toast and juice with the option of purchasing coffee if you so wish. They have also reopened the bar for afternoon cocktails.
The room was very spacious and clean. The two bathrooms are great as I was traveling with my sister so didn't have to share!! With Woolworths right across the road it's easy to stock up and spend the days on your balcony with that amazing view!!
It's nice and close to town and there isn't a huge hill to climb back up.
The only downside is the iPod dock is for a iPhone four but the to has a music channel or you could bring a portable speaker with you.
Will be back again for longer next year!!

Hotel : at Marina Shores Apartments - May 2016

Very well appointed apartments, clean, neat with good facilities. Nespresso, BBQ, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. Everything you need for a few days stay. Hard to fault. Bit if a walk to Airlie Beach but not an unpleasant one. The marina is close by, a great spot to have a beer and watch the boats come & go.

Hotel : at Water's Edge Resort - May 2016

Hotel room was great, nice big open area. We had the hot tub on the balcony which made for the perfect pre drinking spot. didn't leave it all day. Had a late check in which wasn't a problem at all. Also made use of the BBQ area which was handy. Just around the corner from the main strip which is convenient.

Hotel : at Boathaven Spa Resort - May 2016

this is a self serviced apartment with a nice pool near the entrance. very clean rooms and comfortable bed, the actual room is very close to the pictures on their website. they don't change towels daily, but we only stayed 3 nights, so that did not bother us.we stayed at level 2 and got nice harbour view. wifi was fast but only restricited to one user per room. we stayed at one bedroom studio, which is large enough for two people, the kitchen does not have a stove, but did have a microwave. the location is pretty good, 5 minutes walk from the airlie beach harbour terminal, 10 minutes walk to the town centre where you can easily access to shops and restaurants. Please note that the main entrance is from Shute harbour road (the main road of the town), as iphone GPS directed us to the back entrance which is much further, there is a big sign of BOATHAVEN from Shute harbour road

Hotel : at Water's Edge Resort - May 2016

stayed here for 5 nights for our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a better resort and location. just 2 minutes walk to the main strip, with beautiful ocean views and spacious rooms! stayed here with our 2 year old son, the pools were great!

Hotel : at Marina Shores Apartments - May 2016

All I can say about this place is yes yes yes! I didn't want to leave. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the top level. It was so spacious and relaxing. The whole apartment was modern and the appliances a pleasure to use. The views are spectacular with a choice of 2 balconies to choose from! The beds were a dream to sleep in and the apartment was very clean upon arrival :) we know where we will be staying if we ever come back to Airlie beach :) :) I've attached a photo of the view at sunset

Hotel : at Blue Horizon Resort - May 2016

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment, had plenty of space, beds comfortable. Kitchen good with all you needed. Aircon and fans worked well. We had a unit on the 4th floor at the end of the 2nd block. Great location if you want to catch boats to Hamilton Island and the reef trips etc.

Hotel : at Boathaven Spa Resort - May 2016

This was a good value stay in a good centrally located hotel. Spacious and clean room with a nice view over the marina. The room was well appointed and well supplied with utensils, the pod coffee machine being a nice touch. Offstreet parking at both front and rear. Just a couple of minutes walk to the main area of Airlie Beach made this hotel a great choice.

Hotel : at Waterfront Whitsunday Retreat - May 2016

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel
Huge apartment with amazing views over the sea and surrounding area.
Clean and well appointed accommodation
Comfortable beds
Nice infinity pool to relax in as was the jacuzzi.
Short walk down to the Main Street
Breakfast was a bit limited but was adequate.
Wifi was hit and miss, though we were told the whole area was like that not just the hotel

Hotel : at Whitsunday Vista Resort - May 2016

We had a great stay and the balcony views over the marina was great with a nice coldie or two. The cockatoos visits were crazy sometimes up to 9 cockatoos on our balcony. The pool was beautiful and good easy book in made it stress free holiday.

Hotel : at Marina Shores Apartments - May 2016

It was hard to say goodbye to our gorgeous, stylish 1-bedroom unit at the end of our week long stay. If you're heading to the Whitsundays and want a great self-contained apartment so you don't have to eat out all day, every day and have some privacy, this place is for you.

The room - stayed in Room 108 - was extremely spacious (bathroom, kitchen & lounge-room, balcony), immaculately clean, and its facilities are great. All Foxtel channels included, full sized fridge, stereo, shower was great & good pressure, and stove/oven is ideal for cooking at home. As for the bedroom, the bed is very comfortable and ample cupboard/storage space to put your belongings and clothes! The only thing that might need some improvement is that the pots/pans/fry pans weren't first class, however still good enough to cook well. Really a very minor issue. We were also impressed by the hotels facilities - reception staff were always friendly and willing to help assisting us a few times (late checkout, bus timetables etc.), and the pool was beautifully clean and was nice to swim in.

The hotel itself was 10-15 minute walk from the Main Street of Airlie, but it's a nice walk with views of the Marina & is very do-able for most who are able. It's a view that never gets old! If that's too much, a $5-10 cab fare awaits.

My partner and I were thrilled to have stayed at Marina Shores, and would highly recommend this to everyone. It suited us & our needs well. 5 stars for a reason - and really felt like a home away from home. Thanks Marina Shores!

Hotel : at Boathaven Spa Resort - May 2016

Perfect location for any adventure in The Whitsundays! Very pleasant self-contained accommodation. I stayed on the 2nd floor. It was the second time I stayed here and I'd definitely stay again next time I come to Airlie Beach (and I definitely WILL be back soon!) Reasonably priced too!

Hotel : at Waterfront Whitsunday Retreat - April 2016

Hotel :  at Whitsunday Vista Resort - March 2016

Whitsunday Vista is very comfortable , reception staff very helpful, lovely view acrooss the harbour , not to far to walk into town. Great idea the washing machines and tumble dryers for guests use , The leave you alone unless you need anthing works for me... pool was good , enjoyed our time there

Hotel : at Marina Shores Apartments - March 2016

Great little set of apartments near Abel Point Marina. Clean, tidy, well furnished, wifi is ok but patchy in places, awesome views over the bay, shops nearby, helpful reception staff who booked a few trips for me, nice pool in the centre of the apartment complex - overall a great place to stay!

Hotel : at Boathaven Spa Resort - March 2016

Reasonably priced accommodation that was like a small apartment with a kitchenette and very roomy lounge area. The pool view unit was very clean, quiet and had a comfortable bed. The pool was very refreshing and had ample room for a number of patrons. The resort location was ideal for us... we walked a number of times into the town centre and back both during the day and evenings. The reception staff members were all very polite, pleasant, friendly and helpful. We originally were scheduled to stay for only a day or so and ended up staying longer as the accommodations suited our preferences ... we would definitely recommend this resort.

Hotel : at Boathaven Spa Resort - March 2016

It was neat and clean resort . Kitchenette without stove. Free Parking. Close to wharf only 5 mins walk. We can go to Hamilton Island or Great Barrier Reef on Ferry from Wharf. Value for money. nice views from resort. It is good for last minute stay.

Hotel : at Marina Shores Apartments - March 2016

My husband and I stayed here for one night for our wedding anniversary. We stayed here the night of our wedding 4 years ago & because of this, were treated to an upgrade to a penthouse apartment which was a lovely surprise upon check in. The one night wasn't really long enough but all we could be apart from the kids. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Hotel : at Boathaven Spa Resort - March 2016

This was a great find for a reasonable price! We had one of the pool view apartments complete with air conditioning, a kitchenette and semi-separate bedroom. It was quite large enough for our needs, and having the cooking facilities really helped control eating out expenses. They even have a really nice BBQ area to grill your food, and a nice outdoor eating area. The linens were clean and crisp, and the bed was comfortable. Don't pass this place over if you're planning a stay in Airlie Beach!

Hotel : at Boathaven Spa Resort - March 2016

We stayed here for 4 nights before Christmas in a penthouse apartment. It was very well appointed & quite large with beautiful views. It is situated at the end of the main street so no noise from the night clubs! After a long drive they let us check in early. We found we had no hot water but within an hour they had an electrician turn up & fix the problem straight away. I can't think of any negatives as our stay here was just wonderful.

Hotel : at Waterfront Whitsunday Retreat - November 2015

Hotel : at Whitsunday Vista Resort - October 2015

Comfortable homely apartment - My boyfriend and I arrived here on 13/10/2015, we had a late check-in and had a little trouble at first finding out how to get into our room as reception was closed. 5 minutes later everything was sorted and we had settled in. We opted for the apartment with kitchen amenities as we planned to stay 8 days. The room itself was comfortable, with a large living space, balcony and fully-equipped kitchen. Laundry facilities were shared with the flat next door (just outside the apartment). Everything worked fine. A self-sustained apartment, though housekeeping replaced things once during our stay.  We decided to extend our stay for another two days at this hotel as it was located close to town and was more convenient than moving else where. The reception staff gave us a good deal and we were upgraded on our last night to the spa room on one of the upper levels of the hotel. Fantastic views overlooking the Port of Airlie from both rooms. Overall a good stay.

Hotel : at Blue Horizon Resort - October 2015
