Housekeeping Supervisor
Full Time | Various

We are currently seeking a full time Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled experienced housekeeper or a housekeeping team leader who is seeking their next career upgrade. This is a physically demanding role, as you will be hands on working side by side, training and mentoring your team in this fast-paced environment, cleaning our apartment style accommodation.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Duties include daily cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and accommodation apartments.
  • Apply human resource management skills, such as hiring, training, mentoring, rostering, and evaluating performance.
  • Responsible for cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of the properties, checking of guest rooms.
  • Ensure that apartments/rooms are made as per company standards.
  • Maintain par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniforms.
  • Apply human resource management skills, such as hiring, training, rostering, and evaluating performance.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor training, operating procedures and standards.
  • Ensure productivity is achieved daily and apartments are completed on time.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven housekeeping experience of high standards. Previous supervisory experience an advantage.
  • Knowledge of safe and efficient housekeeping policies and procedures.
  • Positive and "Can Do" attitude.
  • The ability to multitask, work under pressure, and flexibility to respond to a variety of different work situations.
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service. The ability to work a flexible roster including weekends.

Housekeeping Extraordinaire
Casual | Multiple Properties

This role requires a minimum 3 month contract.

We are on the lookout for Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our housekeeping team to work at multiple properties across the group. Previous experience preferred however a positive attitude and superior, friendly customer service ethic essential. Casual roles available, ability to work on weekends is a must, local resident highly regarded.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Servicing/Cleaning the Apartments/Public Areas
  • Maintaining linen and stock requirements
  • Undertake special cleaning projects
  • Follow the procedures for all lost property items
  • Communicate maintenance issues

The successful candidate will have:

  • Extremely high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Positive attitude & team player
  • Excellent communication & time management skills
  • Excellent grooming and presentation skills
