Night Guest Service Agent
Full Time | Heart Hotel & Gallery Whitsundays
Heart Hotel & Gallery Whitsundays is currently seeking highly motivated, well-presented, energetic person who enjoys providing great service with a smile, to join our team as a Full Time Night Guest Service Agent. You will be a night owl enjoying the night shift between 11pm and 7am. You will be able to work a flexible roster as weekends are a must. Only short listed candidates will be contacted, local resident highly regarded.
Duties and responsibilities:
- General front office duties – checking guests in & out
- Maintaining guest's accounts with accuracy
- Complete the daily banking ensuring transactions are correct.
- Ensure a very high level of customer service is constantly maintained
- Be responsible for the supervision of the hotel during the overnight shift.
- Timely email management
The successful candidate will have:
- Positive and “Can Do” attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work in a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Flexibility to respond to a variety of different work situations
- The ability to multi task and demonstrate initiative

Housekeeping Team Leader

We are currently seeking an energetic, customer focused and experienced Casual Housekeeping Team Leader to assist in the day to day supervision and effective running of the housekeeping team at our properties. Working closely with the Guest Services Manager you will be responsible to ensure consistently clean rooms and an overall positive experience for our guests. The ability to work on weekends is a must, local resident highly regarded.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Housekeeping duties (room and public areas)
- Monitoring room cleanliness
- On-going training of the housekeeping team
- Ensuring our high quality standards are maintained
- Stock control and ordering supplies
- Guest liaison as required
- Logging maintenance (room and property)
- Lost property control
The successful candidate will have:
- An eye for detail
- Previous experience at a supervisory level
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills

We are on the lookout for Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our housekeeping teams throughout our properties. Previous experience preferred however a positive attitude and superior, friendly customer service ethic essential. - Servicing/Cleaning the Apartments/Public Areas
- Maintaining linen and stock requirements
- Undertake special cleaning projects
- Follow the procedures for all lost property items
- Communicate maintenance issues
